María del Camino Martín Torre has participated in an experimental cooperative experience of CO2 injection performed in Catenoy (France) by the Department of Underground Risks of INERIS (French National Institute for Industrial Environment and Risks) in June 2015. She also has participated in the interpretation and modelling of the obtained results in September 2015. A seminar to show the work of this period is going to be on Friday, October 16th, 2015 (15:30 h, aula 05, ETSIIT).

El día 28 de Noviembre de 2014 a las 11:00 h en el Salón de Actos de la ETSIIT de la UC, tendrá lugar el acto público de defensa de la Tesis Doctoral: "Residuos de fundición como nuevos recursos en procesos cerámicos: Análisis y modelado de las propiedades tecnológicas y medioambientales/ Foundry wastes as new resources in ceramic processes: Analysis and modelling of technological and environmental properties".

La tesis estará presentada por Dña. Maria Luisa Coronado Robles y dirigida por la Dra. Ana Andres Payán pertenecientes al grupo de I+D+i GER de la UC. La tesis Doctoral se ha realizado en el marco del proyecto de Plan Nacional de I+D+i del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación Español CTM 2009-11303. La Tesis Doctoral con Mención Internacional será defendida ante el Professor Carlo Vandecasteele de la KU Leuven, el Dr. Josep A. Chimenos, de la Universidad de Barcelona y Javier Viguri, Professor de la UC.

The 5th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorisation to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 25 – 28, 2014. Dra. Ana Andres Payán is involved in the Scientific Committee.
